If you've been on Spyro's Lair recently, you'll have noticed that the image of Hunter from the end of Eternal Night now makes up a backdrop with a 4 day countdown in the running. What's it counting down to? Let's just say I have very good reason (highly reliable outside source) to believe it's the official press release announcement of The Legend of Spyro 3 - Darkest Hour - Dawn of the Dragon - whatever! We'll have to wait until Monday the 28th to know for sure!

You miscalculated the time though. If I could read those numbers correctly, we are assuming we're going to receive the announcement on Monday, April 28th at 5:15AM West Coast time.

Still, I hope it IS the new game announcement and not some mini-game addition ^^;

Oh wait, before I forget...

This may be a very weird possibility, but the addition of the temple music from The Eternal Night in the background, not to mention the timing, may make me think of another possibility: the release of the game's soundtrack. It may be a long shot, but it'll still get the community excited :D

Do you know if there is any soundtracks of the other LoS games? Or will TDH be the first?

There was a soundtrack release for A New Beginning last year. I thought the trend could very well continue itself somehow o_o

Ooh, so close. :D I can't wait to see the official statement. I'd actually be happier if it was the soundtrack, as Rexy suggested; I'd love to know when that will be released. I wish I knew what the holdup was with iTunes getting it out.

Still, I think the press release is more likely, and that's fine by me. Also, getting a better look at that Hunter picture is a nice bonus for me. :) (Which just gave me an idea: what if they give us a full reveal of the new Hunter in the press release? I will be one very happy customer if they do. :D)
