As you might know - or would liked to know - the first Spyro game, Spyro the Dragon, is now available on the PSN store. This means you can purchase it and play it on your PS3 or PSP. IGN reviewed the game giving it a 7 out of 10. After nearly a decade, a 7 isn't too shabby. It seems Spyro can still hold is own (at least the old titles can).

If you can work past a few of the camera and repetition issues (and the lacking, borderline nonsensical story), you'll have fun with Spyro and perhaps understand why it was considered such a phenomenal title all those years ago.
