Floridians And Dragons Musn't Be A Good Combination
The Orlando Sentinel reviewed the Wii version of TEN and gave it 2 out of 5 stars for an adjusted rating of 4 out of 10. It's a pretty low score (one of the lowest besides that IGN debacle) and the reviewer didn't even give Spyro his own page, it was thrown in with Dragon Ball Z.
Aw, well. Who's reading these reviews anymore, anyways? You should be playing TEN right now.
If for some reason you're not playing TEN and you'd like to see what else they had to say about Spyro follow this link.

| If I could offer my two cents, I'd say that I wanted Spyro to be more interesting. I know what you're all thinking "But, Lory, it's a kids game, and they've made tons of them" and sure, that's true - but I honestly was looking forward to a puzzle game (which is what it at least partially claims to be) and I was let down by the lack of any new puzzles. It's like the people who make these sorts of puzzle games all use the same physics engine, with the same five puzzles all piled up in their databanks.
On the whole, if you're looking for a cute, non offensive game, with good voice talent (though the dialog is a bit choppy) then you could do worse then Spyro. The little Dragon's at least adorable... |
