[How Spyro Fans Must Feel Inside]
The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night for Wii got a 3.6 out of 10 from IGN. I, like most Spyro fans, feel very cheated by this. The review is mainly word for word from the PS2 version's review except for the addition of a line or two.
This is totally ridiculous! How can you take a PS2 review, copy and paste it and change a few lines and call it a new review?! This is laziness on the part of the reviewer and absolutely shameful! I don't think this was the best Spyro ever, or game ever, but certainly it isn't a 3.6 by any means! How can they just take an old review and re-print it?! This port has improved graphics and Wii remote functionality. That merits a new looking at. Mr. Bishop who did the original review clearly showed a lack of care or writing quality then, but has officially proven his idiocy here. Clearly he hated Spyro before he went into the review and therefore he just copied and pasted the PS2 review when he had to do Eternal Night for Wii. Someone new should have reviewed it, in fact I was looking forward to someone else reviewing the Wii version. I am shocked that this has happened.It's not just Spyro...its any game. They rate Virtual Console titles, aren't those just ports? Other games on multiple systems get multiple different reviews and usually from multiple people. Just because someone feels Spyro is kiddy or bad they decided to give it to a biased reviewer and they didn't stop him from clicking Edit>Copy, Edit>Paste for the Wii version of them game. This is appalling! Congratulations, IGN on making yourself look so ignorant!

To further prove my point: the average of those scores is 6.1... and the lowest score there is a 4. How did it get a score lower than the lowest variable in the review? Even Spyro haters have to be able to see the discrepancy here!
