1up says getting Spyro the Dragon on PSN is worth it!

| Well, if Sony's only going to release classic downloads a few times each year, at least they're picking good games. Spyro was one of Insomniac's first games (and is presumably up for download to remind everyone that, hey! Buy Ratchet & Clank!) and was the PlayStation's first genuine contender against Mario 64. It still looks really nice and controls well, and despite some flaws common to the era -- like being expected to track down way too many random doodads -- it's so much better than the modern, non-Insomniac-developed Spyro games that it's worth playing simply as a reminder of how wrong a promising series can go in the hands of uncaring management. |
While they may not speak kindly of the newer games, any positivity concerning Spyro is a good thing!
