We just received confirmation from Rebecca Kneubuhl herself that, as far as she knows, she will not be taking part in the composition of music for the next spyro game. Thanks Aura24 for contacting her for us!

Are you kidding? Rebecca's music is great! Guide You Home is one of my favorite pieces of music ever, as is the Eternal Night theme (which I still wish was available for purchase; anyone know where I can get this?). I'm seriously disappointed in this decision.

On the other hand, this is happy confirmation that there is likely to be a "next Spyro game".

Well I'm just happy that there is another Spyro game in the making. :) I hope the new composer(s) is as good as Becky and Gabe.

Yeah i also talked to rebecca & she told me that they weren't chosen for the next game as the composers. which is kind of sad to see them go since their music was great. There is another game in the works but what has me curious & a bit concerned is in what direction are they gonna go in now with the next spyro game?

And yes they should sign rebecca & gabriel back. sorry for the double post but i forgot to mention that. :)

Well, it seems very odd to me.

Video game studios are (normally) comprised of a close knit group of people working togher for a long pereiod of time. (Unlike movies which is random people working togher for teh moniez).

I would see it as a mistake to start knocking off anyone who has experence with the brand...espessilly is the franchise is changing hands again.

Needless to say the music itself was chock full of asswhoopery.

Rebecca is the best!!! She did so awesome composing the music for the games. I really hope things change and that she'll be back on the project!!! I need her e-mail too!
